Anna. She is almost two. If she ruled the world, sticking your tongue out would mean hello, running everywhere would be mandatory, goldfish would be available in endless supply, and shoes wouldn’t exist.
Kristen and Mark, it was so good to see you! Crazy how quickly a year goes by! I’m happy to see how full of energy and independent little Miss Anna is. I adore her little personality….yes, even if it requires goldfish to keep her functioning. Can’t wait to see what the next year brings! Wish you the best!

Nicole, where do I begin? I remember when we first met at the OC SmugMug 3? Yes 3, years ago. Crazy how time flies! It has been so amazing to see you transform over the past year. I was so excited to finally meet Tam and her family! They were the winners of the free shoot give away at the end of 2010 and we recently connected to document their growing family! This was my first time shooting twins and boy was it a work out. 1 year-old’s love to celebrate their new found legs, and Christopher and Nicholas were no exception. Running, climbing, and sliding all over. In opposite directions of course!

Wow. Can you believe 2010 is coming to a close?? I can’t. I was looking through pictures, and this year was pretty unreal. I wanted to thank all the wonderful people I met and photographed this year. It was a classic winter day in San Diego . You know, a brisk 70 degrees out, with the perfect amount of sunshine. I was excited to meet up with old friends and hopefully make a new one! Ethan was a bit apprehensive initially, but I am happy to report that we are now best friends. Forever. He is full of giggles, insane amounts of energy, and happiness. A complete joy to chase around!

Sometimes I feel like I am standing still. And the whizzing sound flying past me? That is life. I don’t know where time goes, but I’m pretty sure it is flying by faster than ever before. It seems like just yesterday I met up with Christine and Niko to document their pregnancy….
And then a month later to meet sweet baby Marin…
And now, 15 months later, to see how their family has grown. This is why I adore photography so much. I have to opportunity to witness and document life.

Ok, let me first say that I am NOT made to be in front of the camera. I mean really, I messed up 527 times just recording a <2 minute video! Unreal. A few of the many outtakes are at the end…if you make it there haha. I started out much more enthusiastic, promise! And the still frame chosen is just lovely, yikes!
