-He is potty trained, hooray! The events leading up to this have been interesting. One involving me frantically chasing him to go outside and him rolling on his back and peeing OVER his head. It was 6am. I was not amused. : )

-He has a new best friend! I need to get a shot of him carrying it around because it’s hysterical.

-He does not play well with other dogs. Cute ones, big ones, small ones, other dachshunds, Hurley girls, nope, not having it. People though, yes. He will cuddle with you until he has convinced you to steal him.

-He is really needy, which I’m not used to in a dog. Like, me showering in another room is. a. tragedy. TRAGEDY. This neediness is fun when cuddling on the couch though, I’ll give him that!

-Today, we tried to train him to use a dog door, you know, to go hand in hand with the potty training. You can see how annoyed he is haha…

Overall, he is a really good dog. I adore his short legs, big feet, puppy dog eyes, and sweet demeanor.

Love, love, love you Cooper (because clearly, he reads the blog)!

Photography has opened my eyes to fully appreciating and living life. I am continually blown away by the amazing clients and fellow photographers I have met over the past year and a half. Like, seriously blown away.

To celebrate the past, present, future, and the new digs, I want to give away a portrait session. Here are the rules…

2. The session must take place before the end of 2010 in San Diego County. 2011 is sneaking up fast!

3. It includes 1-2 hours of shooting at a location of your choice and a disk of images! (Limited to 4 people).

I adopted my newest love Cooper! I’m not sure if it was the fact that they had the dogs outside in the cold drizzly weather or that it was my birthday, but I did it. I wasn’t planning on acquiring a dog, but once I saw his eyes, he had me. I don’t know what his past 4 years leading up to being rescued were like, but I know I can make the next 4 years the best of his life. I’m so excited to have this little cutie in my life! I mean, look at those big floppy ears!! Looooove!

Annnnd just so I don’t forget how I feel today. : )
