David and Sylvia | Engagement

I was so excited when David emailed me asking if I could take engagement pictures for him and my good friend Sylvia. I was even more excited when we were all in town at the same time. Yes, staying longer than 48 hours has it’s perks David!

They met while studying at Cornell University and have been best friends for the past 6 (almost 7!) years. Their love is honest, quiet, and true. You can feel it in their presence. Hopefully these pictures convey just that.

Love, love, love…Sylvia’s smile is as warm as the Cali sun. True story.My favorite…I seriously can’t believe the weather last weekend. California is blessed with the most beautiful ‘winter’ light.Ok, seriously? How do you guys get to be so good looking??!The SDC.

David and Sylvia, thank you for allowing me to document this moment in your lives. I am so honored to call you both friends. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for you. Did I convince anyone to move to California? Anyone? I heart you two!!

Sylvia - Nicole - You are such a stud. I told you the sun does whatever you want it to. We have gotten calls, messages, texts, etc. about these pictures. People are super impressed, but I just say "told ya so!" like the brat I am. Thank you for capturing our youth (it is fading!), our love, and of course, my stubby, chubby law school doesn't let me go to the gym anymore legs.
